Municipal staff, municipal volunteers, and other interested community members.
Why & How:
Representatives from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) will explain why municipalities should develop a Natural Resources Inventory and how to get started.
Mapping How-Tos:
Westchester County Geographic Information System (GIS) staff will provide hands-on training on mapping natural resources.
What to Bring:
Please bring your laptop and be prepared to go outside for field observations.
